Agreement

These terms apply to www.culturallyconnectedconsulting.com (the “site”) and the Culturally Connected Historical Timelines digital access service (the “digital timelines”), provided by Culturally Connected Consulting, LLC (“Culturally Connected,” “we,” “us”). By using either, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Our content

The books, timelines, text, images, graphics, and other materials on the site and in the digital timelines belong to Culturally Connected or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may view and use them for personal and educational, noncommercial purposes. You may not copy, republish, sell, or create derivative works from them without our written permission, except as the law allows.

Digital timeline access

• Access codes are issued to the purchaser, such as an educator, school, or district, for use by the people their purchase covers.
• Do not post access codes publicly or share them beyond the people the purchase covers.
• Do not copy, scrape, download in bulk, frame, or redistribute timeline content, and do not try to get around access controls.
• We may deactivate codes that are shared publicly or misused. Your access lasts for the period of your purchase.
• We may add, change, or retire features and timelines over time.

Deep Dive (AI-generated content)

Deep Dive panels are written by an AI model, using Google Search results for each timeline entry, and they include the sources found. AI-generated text can contain errors or omissions. Please review it, and check its sources, before using it for instruction. Deep Dive content is not reviewed by Culturally Connected before you see it.

Purchases

Books are sold and fulfilled through Amazon, under Amazon’s terms. Purchases of print timelines, digital access, professional learning, and bulk orders follow the terms we provide with your order, quote, or invoice, including any refund terms.

Acceptable use

Do not use the site or the digital timelines to break the law, interfere with or disrupt the services, send spam or automated form submissions, or try to access what you are not authorized to access.

Links and third-party services

The site and digital timelines link to and embed third-party content, such as Amazon, YouTube, and the sources listed in Deep Dive. We don’t control those services and aren’t responsible for their content or practices.

Disclaimers

Our materials are provided for educational purposes “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We work to keep the services available and accurate but cannot promise they will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Culturally Connected will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or digital timelines. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in question in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms and will post the new version here with a new effective date. We may suspend access for anyone who violates these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
